The Predator is more like a Marvel movie in the sense that it mixes quips in with the story. I have just rented The Predator on Amazon Prime and I think it could catch on if released again, maybe a director’s cut or something. I think people would watch it and like it since a lot of us are still locked down. Aug 10, 2004 · Predator is a great movie - it works on a number of levels - most of all as a great action thriller, and on other levels as a macho 'boys own' comic book adventure in the jungle as well as the obvious horror/slasher movie (the only horror/slasher to have starred Arnie as one of the pottential hunted victims in fact!) - so this movie works on a number of levels and is so well directed, the sound, dialogue and beautifuly composed imagery work to make an unforgetable movie.
