If you have a program that used to work under Windows 7 or 8 but does not work with Windows 10, you can try and run it using the Windows 10 compatibility mode. To do so: Go to the Start Menu or desktop and look for the program you're having trouble with. When you find the program, right click it and select Properties from the dialogue menu.

If you have a program that used to work under Windows 7 or 8 but does not work with Windows 10, you can try and run it using the Windows 10 compatibility mode. To do so: Go to the Start Menu or desktop and look for the program you're having trouble with. When you find the program, right click it and select Properties from the dialogue menu. Run the Program Install and Uninstall troubleshooter to repair the corrupted registry keys that prevent programs from being completely uninstalled, or blocks new installations and updates. Manually edit the registry (Use this only if the Fix It utility does not work) The Program Compatibility Assistant indicates that the .NET Framework might not have been installed correctly and prompts you to reinstall it by using the recommended setting (Program Compatibility mode). Program Compatibility mode could also have been set by the Program Compatibility Assistant on earlier failed or canceled attempts to run the Windows - Resolving Neat Driver Install not Proceeding.
